Smith out for season & Jones signs up for Stour

Sam Smith is out for the season after suffering suspected cruciate ligament damage on Saturday against Chippenham.
We have signed teenager Bradley Jones who is a right back or central defender.

Our former youth team player Jamie Oliver has signed for the club and returns to Amblecote in time for the eagerly antipated second local derby of the season between Halesowen and Stourbridge.

Stour have been boosted by the news that Scott Stevenson has re-signed for the club to provide much-needed cover in the midfield area following the recent departure of Sean Evans to AFC Telford United.
Whilst Stevenson arrives at Amblecote, Stuart Brock is leaving as he had accepted an offer to return to old club Hednesford Town, with whom he played against us in the 2009 Birmingham Senior Cup final.
We would like to welcome Scott as well as thanking Stuart for all his efforts; especially his intrumental role in Stour's memorable FA Cup run to the first round proper of this year's competition.
